I'll have new stuff--dolls, paintings, some special Valentine's Day goodies plus...

I need to make space in my new studio!  I'll have prints and older original paintings on sale.  Can't wait to see you!

I promised to let you know soon what my newest project is, and I am finally ready...hint: it's 3 dimensional, handmade (of course), and a huge leap from what I normally work on.

When is the last time you saw an elderly woman in media portrayed as strong? Beautiful? Full of power and wisdom?  How about all of those things at the same time?  Yeah, me neither.  All it takes is one look at commercials touting a younger you--tighter skin, more eyelashes (seriously?!), less wrinkles, cover those gray hairs--to know that being old and ESPECIALLY being an old woman in our society is not looked well upon. 

When I saw this video posted by a friend on youtube, I fell in love.  This woman has grace, wisdom, beauty, strength, power, vision, and clarity.  This is the kind of old lady I want to be. 

I am SO EXCITED to introduce you all to my new blog...now hosted on my brand-spankin'-new website!  Isn't it pretty?
