2010 Kitchen Mural At Buckman Arts Focus Elementary School

In 2010 I was honored to be commissioned by the PTA at Buckman Arts Focus Elementary school to paint a mural in the previously-drab kitchen. This is an area where meals are cooked, and the children walk through every day to buy their lunches. I was asked to create a mural based on the themes of eating seasonal, healthy food from the USDA Food Pyramid rainbow, gardening & composting, and drinking lots of water to stay healthy.
